Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Kentucky is seeking a registered nurse to join the Emergency Department team. Under supervision, you will apply clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient health problems and coordinate care among nursing and other disciplines.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, plan and implement care, document accurately in the EMR, and participate in discharge planning and quality improvement activities. A valid RN license and ED experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience.
• One (1) year of current ED experience or Kaiser New Grad Internship in the Emergency Department.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using multi-system evaluations and document in EMR.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing plans and coordinate with teams.
• Administer medications and follow physician plans of care.
• Evaluate patient responses and participate in unit quality activities.
