Job summary

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, a part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Fredericksburg, VA. The role requires 1 year ED experience and current RN licensure with ACLS, BLS, and PALS.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience.
• Current RN license and appropriate state credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and manages patient pain; document care in the medical record.
• Performs procedures and monitors as ordered by providers.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Ensures safe, compassionate care and supports positive outcomes.
