Job summary

Ochsner Health System in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department, PRN. You will lead patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required is graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in the state. ACLS/PALS/BLS are expected; CPI certification within 30 days and ACLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in state of practice.
• ACLS, BLS, CPI and PALS certifications required within specified timeframes.
• Strong communication, leadership and teaching abilities within a nursing team.
