Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (Per Diem) to deliver direct and indirect patient care across age groups. You will perform head-to-toe assessments, triage, and communicate patient status with the healthcare team, while contributing to staff hiring and adapting to changing patient needs.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in the practicing state, with at least 2 years in ED and current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (ENPC/TNCC optional).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years ED experience.
• Current RN license in practicing state.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• ENPC and TNCC certifications are optional.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care across all age groups.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassess pain levels.
• Use triage processes to ensure timely care and communicate with the care team.
• Participate in hiring staff and adapt to changes in patient status.
• Combine clinical duties with managerial functions to support outcomes.
