Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe and compassionate nursing care to patients in a dynamic hospital setting.

You will lead a healthcare team, ensure adherence to clinical pathways, and participate in evidence-based practice. A BSN is preferred, with 1 year of acute care or specialty training within 6 months of hire, and active Nevada RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Nevada or eligible for Nevada licensure. BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrate Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence in all interactions.
• Oversee and guide staff under supervision to ensure quality patient outcomes.
