AdventHealth Overland Park is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a part-time day shift. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and coordination with the team to deliver safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must have an RN license, Associate's degree in Nursing, BLS certification, and preferred acute care experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.
• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written).

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly revise them.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and outcomes.
• Respond to code situations and provide timely interventions.
