Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time registered nurse to join the Emergency Department team in Georgia. This role requires applying the nursing process, coordinating across the care continuum, and delivering high-quality patient care with strong safety practices.

You will monitor patient conditions, update care plans, document in the EHR, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff. BSN is preferred; 1 year of clinical nursing experience is typical.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a board-approved nursing education program.
• BSN preferred; RN license with multi-state or state privileges.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience typical.
• Proficient with electronic records and digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Engage patients and families across the continuum of care.
• Monitor conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with care team.
• Uphold a culture of safety and quality improvement.
• Document accurately in EHR; participate in patient education.
• May administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain certifications.
• Communicate effectively and support team delegation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care requirements.
