Job summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department nights at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. This part-time role involves 2x12-hour shifts per week, including weekends and holidays as assigned, onsite at Ithaca, with a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license required.
• BLS certification expected during introductory period.
• ACLS and PALS expected to be completed by end of Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive patient and family assessments and develops person-centered care plans.
• Provides skilled, high-quality clinical care while following policies and professional standards.
• Maintains accurate documentation and uses critical thinking for clinical decisions.
• Applies evidence-based practice and collaborates with the care team to improve patient outcomes.
