Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a part-time night shift (7pm–7am). The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team, guided by Wellstar practices and governance models.

Candidates must be licensed in Georgia (or compact), and hold BLS; PALS, TNCC, and ACLS are strongly preferred. The role emphasizes evidence-based care, safety, and continuous professional development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing (Preferred)
• RN license in Georgia (or compact)
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• TNCC - Trauma Nurse Core Course
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Responsibilities

• Exemplary practice and outcomes in emergency care across the nursing process.
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, high-quality patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.
• Engage in performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Support professional development and precept/mentoring for staff and students.
