Job summary

MidState Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse for night shifts. You will work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care in a high-volume ED setting.

Under the Nurse Manager, you will apply evidence-based practices, follow hospital policies, and develop care plans addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families. CT licensure is required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred','Current RN license in CT
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume environment.
• Self-directed in the management of patient care.
• Previous Emergency Nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED.
• Follow the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies under the Nurse Manager guidance.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.
