Job summary

EvergreenHealth Monroe is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. You will provide high-quality, rapid assessment and care for acutely ill or injured patients in a busy ED environment.

The role requires WA RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, and the ability to work rotating shifts including nights. We offer cross-training opportunities and a strong team-focused culture in a semi-rural hospital setting in Monroe, WA.

Qualifications

• Must hold Washington State Registered Nurse license and be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required; TNCC and PALS/ENPC strongly preferred or obtainable within defined timeframe.
• NIHSS course within 90 days of hire; TNCC within 365 days; ENPC or PALS with pediatric focus may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate triage and rapid assessment in a high-volume ED.
• Deliver individualized patient care with instruction from physicians and the care team.
• Document care plans, vital signs, and discharge instructions clearly and timely.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and patient education.
• Collaborate with ED staff and external providers to ensure smooth transitions of care.
