Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on the night shift. The RN coordinates direct patient care, educates patients and families, and leads the patient care team in a high-volume ED.

We require a Virginia RN license (compact state accepted), current CPR, ACLS before end of orientation, and PALS within 3 months. BSN/MSN and specialty certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma and/or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Current and valid Registered nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or from a Compact state.
• CPR certification is required.
• ACLS required prior to end of orientation.
• PALS within 3 months of orientation end.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Serve as a leader of the patient care team and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff.
• Deliver high quality patient care on a night shift in a fast-paced ED setting.
