Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Night shift in the Emergency Department. You will provide high-quality patient care, conduct assessments, implement care plans, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely treatment.

We welcome candidates with ADN (BSN preferred), valid Virginia license, BLS within 90 days, ACLS/PALS or ENPC within 1 year, and ED experience.

Qualifications

• ADN required.
• BSN preferred.
• Virginia or compact RN license in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS & PALS or ENPC within 1 year of hire.
• 2 years nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• RN experience in the ED highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and design and implement personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor responses.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of treatment.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Uphold patient safety and adhere to evidence-based protocols.
