Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health: Charlotte - Emergency Department. This full-time night-shift position offers 36 hours per week (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) with a pay range of $38.20 to $57.30 per hour.

The role emphasizes clinical nursing practices, patient safety, and teamwork in a high-acuity environment. The RN will provide evidence-based nursing care, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure accurate documentation in the Electronic Health

Qualifications

• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
• Active RN license in the state(s) where providing care; multi-state compact preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or as specified by department.

Responsibilities

• Engages in quality initiatives and governance to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitors patient conditions and collaborates with the care team to optimize outcomes.
• Maintains patient safety and adheres to ESR and ethical guidelines.
• Documents accurately in the EHR and ensures timely updates.
