Olathe Health System, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department at Olathe Hospital. This full-time mid-shift role provides direct patient care in a fast-paced ED, utilizing the nursing process to coordinate care and ensure safety.

The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, mentors staff, and leads in patient assessment, triage, and treatment planning. Requires Kansas RN licensure and ADN/BSN pathway compliance; BLS/CPR certification.

Qualificações

• Registered nurse with current licensure in Kansas or a compact license.
• ADN with ADN-to-BSN agreement required within five years of hire.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification required; some units need additional unit-specific certs.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to hospital medication safety policies and order writing formats.
• Answers calls, triages patients, evaluates needs and coordinates care.
• Provides direct nursing care including chemotherapy, blood components, and fluids.
• Leads in patient assessment, care planning and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Demonstrates leadership in mentoring and developing team members.
