Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's Adult Emergency Department in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced ED.

You'll apply evidence-based practice, uphold standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and a positive experience; ACLS/BLS required; ED experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and effective communication to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
