Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse at the CN II level. The ideal candidate will have BSN or ADN with ER experience, be board-certified in ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and BLS, and hold or be eligible for CA RN licensure.

This role emphasizes autonomous practice within an interdisciplinary ED team. The position requires strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and excellent communication to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN or ADN plus 5+ years ER experience in lieu of BSN
• Two years ED RN experience required
• Transitional RN program requires 2 years in acute care; urgent care considered

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ED
• Coordinate interprofessional health care team
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses
• Educate patients and families about conditions, medications and lifestyle
