Job summary

Trinity Health's Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This part-time role offers a 24-hour work week with a night shift from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am and rotation on weekends/holidays.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, delegating tasks where appropriate and collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, effective discharge planning and continuous quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Current RN Pennsylvania state license required.
• Current BLS required or orientation.
• ACLS required or orientation if applicable to area of practice.
• Previous acute care and/or ER experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process per hospital policy.
• Communicate plan of care and changes in patient condition to the health care team.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions and outcomes per policy.
• Document pain, fall risk, and wound risk assessments and plans.
• Interpret clinical data and adjust the plan of care.
• Assess patients for potential risk factors.
• Perform thorough nursing assessments.
• Participate in discharge planning with a multi-disciplinary team.
