Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma/endorsement.
• RN license in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of medical records.
• Evaluates patient responses and intervenes to ensure the best outcomes.
• Develop and implement the patient plan of care and observe outcomes.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient charts and records.
• Document status and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Use information technology to communicate, manage knowledge, mitigate error, and support decision-making.
• Promote and protect patient safety and rights.
• Educate patients and families, assess learning readiness, and evaluate teaching effectiveness.
