Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN - Registered Nurse with MA licensure.
• Maintains current BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Administers, transcribes, and records medications per SSH policies.
• Develops and updates individualized plan of care; documents outcomes.
• Assesses and reassesses patient needs; communicates plan of day per unit policy.
• Maintains patient safety, uses two identifiers before procedures, and adheres to hand hygiene guidelines.
• Completes ongoing professional development and reviews policy changes.
• Operates department software and knows how to function in downtime.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, privacy and security requirements.
• Promotes patient and family-centered care and respects diverse values.
