Job summary

South Shore Health System is seeking a registered nurse to deliver individualized, outcome oriented care in a fast-paced inpatient setting. You will assess, plan, provide, and document care per hospital policy.

Responsibilities include medication administration, care planning, safety, and ongoing professional development. A MA RN license and BLS are required; ACLS/NRP may be department dependent.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and BLS; ACLS/NRP may be required per department.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with hospital-based training.
• Demonstrates safe medication administration and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration, transcription, and recording per SSH policy.
• Develop, update, and communicate an individualized plan of care.
• Document all patient care per policy and nurse-sensitive indicators.
• Assess and reassess patient needs; communicate barriers to discharge.
• Maintain a culture of safety and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Engage in patient and family centered care and ensure education during stay.
