Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD).
• RN license required.
• ACLS/TNCC/ENPC and/or PALS/CPR-BLS/NIHSS required or to be completed per orientation.
• Emergency Department experience and readiness to work in a high‑acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective patient care and outcomes.
• Interact with patients and families while maintaining professional nursing standards and Texas Nurse Practice Act compliance.
• Prioritize care in a dynamic ED with varying acuity and census.
