Job summary

Hendrick Health in Abilene, Texas seeks Registered Nurses to deliver direct, individualized care to women and children using the nursing process. You will collaborate with patients, families and a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

RNs must practice under the Texas Nurse Practice Act, hold an RN license with CPR-BCLS, and complete ACLS/NRP within 6 months; additional certifications (PALS/ENPC) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing (Diploma, AD).
• At least 2 years of prior W&C experience.
• RN license and CPR-BCLS required; ACLS/NRP within stated timelines; PALS/ENPC as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, individualized care to women and children by applying nursing process and principles.
• Collaborate with patients, families and other professional disciplines to ensure quality care and outcomes.
• Uphold the Texas Nurse Practice Act and participate in required committees and quality initiatives.
