Job summary

IHA is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) in Chelsea, MI for a full-time, 12-hour night shift. The ED RN provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, trauma, or emergencies in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include rapid assessment, triage, planning, and implementing evidence-based interventions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• ENPC certification or ability to obtain within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and comprehensive patient assessments.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical presentation.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, vital signs, and response to treatment.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per physician orders.
