Job summary

MultiCare Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, WA is seeking a Staff RN to join its hospital-based team. This role offers 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends and involves a multidisciplinary approach to patient care within a dynamic nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or MLS.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.
• New graduate RNs or RNs without ED experience should apply to Residency or Fellowship opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team members.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity, and health of diverse patients.
