Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System's Methodist Women's Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department RN to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in urgent and critical situations. The role serves patients from birth through adulthood and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule: Nights 6:45pm-7:15am, every third weekend; 24 or 36 hours per week. Requires BSN/MSN or ADN with progression; current Nebraska RN license; BLS/ACLS/TNCC/ENPC/PALS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN required; ADN with progression within 5 years acceptable.
• Nebraska RN license required; compact multistate license acceptable.
• BLS/ACLS required; TNCC/ENPC/PALS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care specific to patient population.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and update plans of care.
• Collaborate with providers and other clinical disciplines.
• Deliver teaching to patients and families about health care problems.
• Maintain safety and quality of care and follow nursing protocols.
