Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to provide compassionate nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. You will apply nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while following the organization's policies and procedures.

You will coordinate patient care activities, maintain standards of practice, and contribute to high-quality outcomes in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Current Georgia RN licensure (NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure) required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
• New graduates eligible; no hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across the life cycle using nursing processes (assess, plan, implement, evaluate).
• Coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Adhere to organizational policies and standards of practice; demonstrate accountability.
