Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA seeks a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle, applying the nursing process from assessment through evaluation. Applicants should have graduated from an accredited nursing program, hold or pursue GA RN licensure, and possess BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; GA RN licensure required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required for all positions.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNCL multistate license required.
• BCLS certification required.
• New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred for some roles.
• PRN positions may require 1 year hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within policy guidelines.
• Coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality care.
