Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department to provide comprehensive bedside care and collaborate with the health care team. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care across the hospital stay.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, medication administration, patient education, and discharge planning, with opportunities for ongoing professional development in emergency nursing certifications.

Competenze

• Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience.
• One (1) year of current ED experience or Kaiser Permanente New Grad Internship in the ED.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse License in the state of practice.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 6 months of hire or PALS within 6 months of hire.

• Assessments across multiple systems and discharge planning.
• Develops and coordinates an individual plan of care and teaching plans.
• Document care accurately in the EMR and follow physicians' orders.
• Evaluate patient progress and participate in unit quality assurance activities.
