Job summary

Happy Valley Oregon seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department in Oregon. The nurse will assess patients, plan individualized care, and coordinate with the health care team to ensure high-quality discharge planning and patient education.

The role requires at least 9 months of RN experience, with ED experience preferred or completion of Kaiser’s ED New Grad Internship. Licenses and certifications must be kept current as outlined.

Qualifications

• Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience.
• One (1) year of current ED experience or Kaiser Permanente New Grad Internship Program in the ED.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate multi-system assessments and discharge planning.
• Develops an individual nursing plan of care and coordinates with other departments.
• Initiates measures per protocol and documents in the EMR.
• Evaluates patient responses and participates in unit quality assurance activities.
