Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Oregon seeks a registered nurse to join the Emergency Department. Under general supervision, you will assess, plan and coordinate care for patients, using clinical judgment and teamwork with the health care team.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program, a valid RN license in Oregon, and at least nine months of RN experience, with ED experience preferred. You’ll document care in the EMR and participate in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• RN with accredited nursing program graduation.
• Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience.
• ED experience preferred or Kaiser Permanente New Grad Internship in ED.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate multi-system assessments and plan of care.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing plan of care.
• Administer medications and document in EMR.
• Coordinate patient care activities with health care team and discharge planning.
