Job summary

HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Atlantis, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will use established nursing models to assess, perform, teach, and manage patient care while advocating for patients and families.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, CPI, and 1+ year of acute care experience; ER experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current State of Florida Registered RN License.
• Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida licensing requirements)
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications
• CPI Certification
• Minimum of one year acute care Medical/Surgical/Tele RN experience
• One or more years ER RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain and promote pain management.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and medications.
• Prepare patients for self-management and lifestyle changes.
