Northwestern Medicine is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Huntley, IL. This full-time role offers evenings hours, 0.9 FTE, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus for experienced ED RNs with 1+ year of experience. The nurse will assess acutely ill patients, coordinate care, and collaborate with the health team.

Requirements include a BSN, IL RN license, and BLS certification. ADN with commitment to BSN within three years is acceptable.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others
• Strong analytic abilities

Responsabilidades

• Collects and analyzes data and develops an individualized plan to coordinate care.
• Directs care and utilizes assistants when providing direct patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, physicians and staff to create a documented plan focused on outcomes.
• Participates in shared governance, committees and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses to nursing interventions and documents outcomes.
• Uses evidence and research to guide practice decisions.
