Job summary

Banner Health in Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients across the hospital setting. You will document care, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patient safety and quality outcomes.

Minimum requirements include an active RN license and BLS certification; a Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. This role may involve shift work in a busy emergency center setting at Banner Thunderbird/University Medical Center

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental and discharge planning needs.
• Formulate and implement a detailed plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family and health team.
• Document assessment, plan, implementation and patient response in the medical record.
• Provide nursing care and supervision according to physician orders and organizational policies.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans to meet goals and improve outcomes.
