Job summary

Texas Health Mansfield is seeking a dedicated RN to join our full-time team in Mansfield, Texas. Day shift, hospital-based role focusing on comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, and collaborative multidisciplinary care.

You will supervise staff, educate families, and ensure safe administration of treatments. The ideal candidate holds an Associate's in Nursing (Bachelors preferred), is fluent in English, and has strong communication and stress-management skills.

Qualifications

• Emergency department experience is required.
• RN license and BLS certification required.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary care.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to supervise staff and address issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients’ physical, mental, and emotional health.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain diagnoses and options.
• Document all assessments, plans, interventions, and outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per protocols.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and options.
• Supervise nursing and support staff and evaluate performance.
• Evaluate discharge needs and coordinate transitions to home or other care facilities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
• Address issues related to patient care, staffing, and resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
