Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• CPR or BLS certification required.
• BLS certification from AH policy required.
• ACLS or ARC-ALS required.
• PALS or ARC-PALS required.
• NRP or ARC-NALS required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group according to standards and the nursing process.
• Supervises and directs activities of nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.
• Utilizes critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in patient care.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe, healing environment.
• Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care.
