Job summary

Adventist Health Tulare seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver coordinated nursing care in a 108-bed acute care setting. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate with other disciplines, and apply the nursing process to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure in the state, CPR/BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications, and preferably a BSN. Prior acute care experience is favored; vaccine requirements apply per hospital policy.

We are comprised of a 108-bed acute care hospital, emergency department and provide primary and specialty care services to best serve our community. Tulare is situated in a delightful and geographically diverse region. Job Summary

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor‘s Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required

• Directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment team.
• Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
