Job summary

Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa, Oklahoma, seeks an ED Registered Nurse I for day shifts. This full-time role prefers ED experience but is not for new grads, and requires Oklahoma RN licensure and a nursing diploma.

Responsibilities include delivering nursing care, documenting care steps, collaborating with teams, and supporting discharge planning with patient education. You will work within a dynamic Emergency Center environment, ensuring alignment with hospital standards and unit policies

Qualifications

• Has completed the basic professional curricula of a school of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree.
• Current multi-state or Oklahoma RN license.
• 0–6 months related experience.
• Knowledge of disease state management processes and clinical pathways.
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Documents steps of the nursing process and uses proper medical terminology.
• Facilitates patient discharge through referrals and education tailored to age/culture.
• Collaborates with other disciplines and participates in unit education and PI activities.
• Contributes to performance evaluations and variance reports as needed.
