Job summary

Minimum qualifications include an active RN license in the United States and graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BLS is required, ACLS/PALS/CEN are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon arrival to the emergency department, including vital signs and presenting symptoms.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and standards of care.
• Monitor patient status continuously and respond promptly to changes or emergencies.
• Document all patient care activities in electronic health records to maintain clear communication among the care team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
