Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring an Emergency Department RN in Torrance, CA. The role requires RN licensure and ADN or higher, with preference for ER experience and ACLS/PALS certifications.

You will work across night shifts with flexibility for full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules. You will provide urgent patient care, assess needs, manage treatments, and collaborate with a team of physicians to determine discharge or admission plans.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ years ER experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first line of defense for urgent medical care.
• Treat trauma, injuries or severe medical conditions.
• Assess patient needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor health, administer meds and operate equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families about condition and plan.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients who require any type of urgent medical care
• Treat patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
