Job summary

Incredible Health is recruiting an Emergency Department (RN) for a San Antonio, TX area hospital. The position supports trauma and urgent care, with day, night and mid shifts, and full-time, part-time or per diem options.

A strong RN with an ADN or higher nursing degree, an active license, and ER experience is preferred. ACLS/PALS certifications are desirable, along with solid teamwork and patient education skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years ER experience preferred.

• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat patients with trauma, injury, or severe medical conditions.
• Quickly assess patient needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications and treatments, and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop care plans and determine disposition.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.
