Job summary

Incredible Health in Marietta, GA is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN to join a busy hospital team and provide urgent care to patients with trauma or acute conditions.

Shifts available include day, night, and mid; job types include full-time, part-time, and per diem. Rewards include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, and tuition assistance.

Candidates should hold ADN or higher, an active RN license, and 1+ year ER experience; ACLS/PALS are preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of experience in an emergency room (ER) setting preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedure.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients who require urgent medical care.
• Treat patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan.
