Job summary

Incredible Health in Delray Beach, FL is actively seeking an Emergency Department RN to join a Level 1 trauma team and provide high-quality urgent care. Shifts include day, night, and mid, with full-time, part-time, or per diem options in a hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold ADN or higher nursing degrees, a valid RN license, and ER experience. ACLS/PALS are preferred; strong critical thinking and teamwork are essential for patient and family education and care coordination.

Qualifications

• 1+ years ER experience preferred.

• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat patients with trauma, injury, or severe medical conditions.
• Assess patients quickly and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications and treatments, operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients who require any type of urgent medical care
• Treat patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions
• Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care
• Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment
• Participate in code blue and other emergency situations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
