Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient/visitors/family requests and direct to appropriate areas.
• Verify insurance benefits and ensure data accuracy.
• Enter information into the Billing system with high accuracy.
• Confirm co-pay amount and collect from patient.
• Prioritize patient visits based on admission status and stay time.
• Complete Medicare Secondary payer questionnaire and identify payer requirements.
• Coordinate financial assistance with internal resources as needed.
• Answer multiple incoming lines and direct to appropriate parties.
