Qualifications

• Experience in patient registration, healthcare, or customer service preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and efficiently in the medical information system.
• Obtain and verify required patient demographic and registration information.
• Follow established registration policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Provide professional and courteous service to patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient registration records.
• Protect patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Support registration activities in the Emergency Department and/or Outpatient Registration Office.
• Participate in meetings, quality improvement, and process improvement efforts.
• Support changes designed to improve operations and patient experiences.
• Participate in required training and professional development activities.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
