Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Chambers Memorial Hospital is seeking an RN for weekend option nightshift (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) position in our Emergency Department. We’re looking for experiencedER RNwho can hit the ground running. This is a rural environment ED where teamwork and strong clinical judgment are key.

The general salary range for this job opening is 30.00 – 35.00 with an additional 35% weekend option differential. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including, but not limited to, education, work experience, and previous work performance, etc.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
• Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
• Direct and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
• Ensure own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
• Participates in the development of and maintain established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
• Stay current on competencies and maintain unit standards

What you Bring:

• Completion of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 1 year of Emergency Department experience within the last 5 years.
• Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas.
• Current BLS.
• Current ACLS.
• Current TNCC or required within 6 months of hire
