Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking an Emergency Department Clinical Focus Pharmacist to provide direct pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced emergency medicine environment. You will collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal medication therapy outcomes for patients, as well as educate PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $53.00 - $87.50 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions; knowledge of state and local regulations.
• Experience in a medical center or institutional setting preferred.
• Must possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions for accuracy and ingredients.
• Participate in trauma and emergency response activities.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy residents and students.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy

Hospital experience or residency preferred

License in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy
