Responsibilities

• Establishes patient account in the system accurately and timely.
• Completes demographic and financial information with correct flow type in Admissions system.
• Obtains signature on authorization forms for registrations and explains components.
• Operates department equipment such as fax, copier, printer, and card/credit machine.
• Pre-registers patients for scheduled appointments and responds to phone inquiries promptly.
• Performs discharge data entry including diagnosis, disposition, and time stamps.
