Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a licensed Paramedic to join our emergency care team on the night shift. You will apply splints, assist physicians, perform venipuncture, monitor cardiac rhythm, and support patient transport and care across units.

You must have PARA, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications and up to 1+ year ED or pre-hospital experience. We offer day-one benefits, competitive pay, and opportunities for career development within a faith-based healing ministry.

Qualifications

• Licensed Paramedic (PARA) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
• 1+ emergency department or pre-hospital paramedic experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport unmonitored patients to inpatient departments and assist in PCU/med‑tele as directed.
• Assist physicians or nurses with procedures and exams and prepare/cleanup for sutures, lumbar punctures, etc.
• Perform venipuncture, establish IV/IO access, monitor infusions, and assist with oxygen therapy.
• Conduct hourly rounding, ensure patient comfort and safety, and communicate updates.
