Wellstar Health Systems in Georgia is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Paramedic to join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a busy ED.

Eligible candidates will hold a Georgia paramedic license and NREMT certification, with ACLS, BLS, and PALS; minimum two years of field or hospital paramedic experience. You will perform EKGs, IVs, med administration, patient transport, and intake support.

Qualificações

• Completion of accredited paramedic program and clinical hours.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a paramedic in the field or hospital setting.
• All certifications are required upon hire (ACLS, BLS, PALS, PARA).

Responsabilidades

• Assist medical and nursing staff with emergency patient care.
• Greet and interview patients, input medical information into the system.
• Perform tests and procedures (EKG, cardiac monitoring, venipuncture, point-of-care testing).
• Administer medications as directed, monitor glucose, ISTAT testing.
• Transport patients to ICU and monitor critically ill patients.
• Support ED patient flow and educate patients and families.
